The first edition of Be SpectACTive! was conceived by 4 areas:

– the creation of groups of active spectators in each of the artistic partners’ venues.

– the production of 21 new contemporary theatre and dance shows to support the work of young and innovative European artists and promote their interaction with the local audiences thanks to a program of “creative residencies”.

– the development of a web-based production of shows mixing the presence of the artists in each area and the interaction with audiences through ICT.

– the creation of a research project useful to underline strength and weaknesses of the project.
